I hope you aint gonna say you had one all this time caliman??? LOL
Been searching for ever for one of these for my cd changer in the boot. seems the lead i was being told to use as an aftermarket option would of never worked! It was a 1 piece lead with an adapter at one end to convert the din to the back of the head unit and a din on the other.
Was told it goes from the head unit to the cd changer ( it does not) There sonly 1 plug ised in the head unit not 2 and this goes from the unit to the loom , then it splits of from there to the cd changer. This means it does not get its power from the back of the head unit as i was told but instead the loom behind the dash..
Cant wait to hopefully finally use the cd changer and fook of the tape deck / radio.. been torcher all this time without it

CD?

I have a CD changer somewhere. I never even considered connecting it since I went USB. I can now fit loads more music into a little pot than I can on CD into a big case, then take it from one car to another or indoors to add a couple more albums.

Head units are getting cheaper all the time. DIN D units with an ISO connection are pretty standard & slot straight in to a Calibra. Even the expensive ones are not expensive any more.

Rips, i get that but this car is being made as a retro look car and im trying to make it as totally standard as possible.
Ive gone through alot of trouble to make the car like this as my project!
Tbh, im totally done with cds and my other daily car has a big sound system with subs / usb ect but this car is being shown as factory look so im trying to detail it with everything it should of had when sold from factory..
The head unit is pants and sounds crap but i want the system fitted and working to complete my project ..
Tbh, its been more agro than its worth at times lol
