Product Testing

by BigDaz » Wed Aug 03, 2016 7:13 pm

I thought i would do some product testing with Forever Black trim dye i have seen this product advertised for a while now and thought will it really work so after reading some reviews from customers in the USA the country from which this product is made and watching some YouTube video's i took a gamble and bought some on eBay and sought about testing it now my personal rating of this product is that it is worth every penny of the £15 for the kit i will post pictures of the car when i do it but this is how i got on with a test piece of door trim from my 1994 Calibra

Looking good Daz, I painted mine - only because they were already painted - not happy with them though...

I've used this on my bump strips, and it does leave a good finish.

Wee update i started to do my bump strips today a few top tips for anyone that hasn't used this before use thinners to clean and prep surface seems to do a better job than the cleaner that comes with the kit , a little goes a long way and if your plastics are very faded like mine 3 coats works perfect using the foam pad in horizontal passes rather than vertical
