Pot Holes

The roads around my way look like they have come under heavy artillary shelling. Still, our local council should have them fixed by November :banging:

same here also. if they dont grit the roads what do they expect? Snow/ice to thaw expanding the holes to craters.

Should take a trip to the scandinavian countries to see how they deal with it. stupid council

scandinavian countries dont use grit or salt though, they just clear the roads and the car must have snow chains or spiked tyres fitted

Haven't had the bottle to drive along your road yet, i hit a pot hole not far from your flat a few years back and cost me a new tyre. The crater down the bottom of Cardiff road looked like the aftermath of one of those 1st world war mine explosions under the enemy trenches, it was huge. fixed now but even the new stuff is washing away. Why can't Luton council do things right the first time !!

All councils are the same. I drive every day and have barely seen a gritter. The roads are bad enough as it is.

Has anyone actually seen one being repaired though? I get about a fair bit across various counties and have seen bugger all being done!
