i think there normally pretty good and reliable mate as tina had a corsa b and that was bulletproof

there usually bulletproof, but they do have some faults.eg gear linkage ,cv joints,broken rear coil springs,excessive play in inner tie rods,frayed handbrake cables,lamda sensors,front wiper linkage seize up.apart from that there a pretty reliable car.

And there power steering pump fails,new column has to be fitted
timing chain tensioner fails reguarly make sure its done as it can be expensive to sort out
oil pressure switch fails and causes oil leak (a big one)
and make sure the recall has been done on the abs sensor

forget the timing chain bit as i see it is a 1.4 it has a belt

Andy I had lots of Corsa C's and never had any problems with them and mine would have 4 or 5 drivers a day

power steering pump???? dont they have an electric motor assisted steering

yes they are the electric motor is built into the steering column.same as a fiat punto,ive changed a few of them .

well It ain't a power steering pump then as electricity dont need a pump :)


and it is usually the connection going it to the motor that causes the problems on them motors
