Goin to pick up my new car soon

by Jamesyboy » Sat Apr 03, 2010 11:10 am

Well i went and had a look at a nice vectra sri last night and thought it was great, no knocks, rattles, noises, quiet engine, black, loads of mot and tax, so well happy i can get about again :)

I will be using it as my daily drive from now, and somewhere along the pipeline a nice calibra will pop up and be my summer driver. I think its the best way now, as calibras are getting rarer and especially good ones, wont be long till i have another.

Ilkl get some pics up of the car if you lot wont bite my head off later :)

Well as promised here is a couple of pics of my vectra,

She has a wee rust problem on the back drivers door, and some **** reversed into the car the day i went and looked at it, but its only a few war scars, a little cosmetic surgery should help it :)

But she drives so so nice, like its from a showroom almost, she is only the 120 sri, 1.8, but goes fine, and is amazing on fuel costs, so nice new calibra is a little closer now :)

Oh it does that ok,

The one problem i have with it, is the paint colour, under the bonnet it says 87l which is normally some knid of silver, but the car is defo black, and i cannot fint a touch up pen to match it at all!! Both the blacks in halfords are metallic, and i dont think my car is metallic... any ideas?
