Photobucket

I have been trying to upload some photos onto photobucket.

If I click upload and Drag n Drop photos to here, it will think about it for a while (dependant on the number of images - a lifetime) but the outcome is I get a message back saying a error occurred. My photos from my camera are generally 8 to 10MB each

I can upload one at a time but this is just painstaking. Am I missing something for bulk uploads or is it the size of the images?

Cheers, so can you perform a bulk resize, I guess that's what most people must do?

It always makes me wonder how people get photos up so quickly from events.....usually before I even get the chance to get home lol

Here's how I do it.

My pics average 3Mb, but there is usually 50+ to upload.

I take the memory card from the camera, put into a card reader to transfer the files the the show folder on my PC (PVS '13, Billing '13 etc) Then log into Photobucket

Select the PB folder you want to upload to, or create it.

Click the upload tab,

Hold down CTRL then left click ALL the pictures you want to upload. (I've never done drag and drop...)

The upload speed will depend on your ISP of course.

Oh yes, it might help to convert your picture files to JPEG rather than RAW format too, before uploading to PB.
