Gordy, that second one you listed wasn't a Calibra it was a Calais (luxury version of the standard Commodore). It has 4 doors for starters and from what I could see is a V8 so a totally different car. The other one, yeah they're dreaming! You should normally see Calibras listed here for around A$1,500 or less. Yes decent mechanics are hard to find (I'm lucky enough to have an ex-pat here in Cairns to help me out on mine) and parts can be expensive if locally sourced. Unfortunately it's what we have to deal with.
