I really do like the colour of the SE6

Very Sexy indeed, but it's such a shame that it didn't come with a Black Interior...

I think the Cream Interior suits darker cars a lot more, than the lighter colours...

SE6 with Black Interior... That's what I'd love to see one day...

Great work so far man.

Can I ask, was it an easy fix for the water leak into passenger footwell? Seems this a common problem on some calibras I've come across. Mine too sometimes :/

The most common reason is blocking up of the drain pipe for the heater area. This is generally known as the 'Elephants Trunk' due to its shape.

It is located in the middle of the top of the bulkhead and drains onto the steering rack.

Poke a flathead screwdriver into the slot at the bottom of it and dig out all the accumulated rotted leaves etc.

Thanks a lot for the comments much appreciated :) I do all the work outside so it's gonna be harder finding time in winter :(

Personally I prefer the cream leather but its all personal preference.

Basically what he said ^^ haha

Yeah I got advised to do that as I can see myself alot of dirt and crap collects. Funny how one little pipe (the elephants trunk) factors whether the car turns stalls or not. When I cleaned my elephants trunk then put it back it was a little loose. I couldn't figure out why my car kept stalling just after ignition lol

Just a few pics of what I've been up to recently...

Its surprisingly clean underneath but I want it absolutely mint so a full rebuild is the only way :D haha

Bonnet and wings are off etc and as you can see from the pics my garage is a tip so that's tomorrow's job! Haha

No mate maybe next year possibly the year after as I would rather take my time and make it right as I plan to keep it forever after the rebuild.

Oh well won a few more brand new genuine vauxhall bits on eBay tonight :D

Few more bits stripped and another parcel arrived today!

Quick update on what I've done to my VXR... Had some graphics applied and a few bits wrapped.

Starting to run out of storage space for parts :(

Hows the rear panel under the bumper on yours? Mines needed quite
a bit of attention as it was rusted right through.

There's a tiny bit of rust in the corner mate but it looks good :)
