I did cheap WG mod by adding old, dirty and rusty spring :). Theres MUCH MORE BOOST now! It went to 1.3bar and i thought it was too much since i experienced slight spluttering. Boost gauge needle was shakey. I was worried so i lowered the boost by adjusting WG. Then i got mail from EDS stating that it should hold 1bar and overboost to ABOUT ~1.3bar on phase 2. Realized i got disconnected vacuum pipe (probably due to higher boost then usual). I secured small pipe and no more spluttering, boosting is awesome and very fun again. It will feel usual in a few months as always, but now its damn fast :).

I've found loose hubs holding the turbo, 2 are missing, im the one who screwed them (if you know what i mean), never thought hubs could get loose. Also missing screws on the exhaust side right on the turbo manifold.

Then i decided to play with my hood, paint got chipped and i didnt wanna just paint it...

I've never seen such an idea to cover up a dodgy bonnet!
Top effort man. Bonus points for doing something different.

Last Friday something got broken, it happened in gear while i was braking. I slowed down and drove for a few minutes very slowly trying first 3 gears. Oil was leaking and later i realized it was gearbox oil. Today gearbox got out and crank is visible. I'm sending it to my friend who has parts and f28 experience and hopefully can replace broken part inside if needed :).

Screw holding bearing case went for a walk and made a mess, there were 2 holding it to the outer gearbox case. Gearbox is now assembled, I guess tomorrow my car will be out of the workshop.

First picture, screw leftovers and another screws head, then bearing holder placed on the gearbox case, one damaged gear. Last picture is from the internet so you can see how it looks. My friend changed gearbox case and broken parts inside, checked everything else and it seems fine. I never had problems changing gears on high rpm anyway :).

Last week gearbox got bolted back to its place. My friend disassembled and cleaned everything, it looks good as new :). some pics of his amazing work!

Mechanic broke my txb oil temp sensor :(. I told him to be careful but after 5 times he managed to braeak it. Amazingly he never disconnected it during unscrewing or screwing. Cable got undamaged. Wasnt able to find used one and new is expensive.

I was careful with cutting sensor leftovers and managed to get it out in working condition. Machined new brass screw and assambled it. Drove for about 800km, everything works great!

Met a friend with calibra and made some pictures :).

Postal service was very gentle with my gearbox so i received it with broken part but it just holds clutch cable direction.

I have weighted the car today, had about 35L of lpg and 15L unleaded, I've expected exaclty 1500kg which was right, it went from 1500to1520kg! Great weight, factory specs says 1400KG + LPG + Car audio etc. When im in it we become heavy weight :)!1!!
