Calibra turbo Project x2
Re: Calibra turbo Project x2
Ok, I'm £250 lighter, but just been an bought a wet n dry hoover, hose reel, new pressure washer, huge amount of cleaning products.
And a wee treat for Ians old car:-
* New Wiper Blades*
*Screenwash*
*Fresh Pas Fluid*
*Oil & Filter Change*
*Fuel Filter*
*Timing Belt & Tensioner*
Going to change rocker cover for a spare, sending old one/timing belt cover to get powdercoated white.
I'll get new plugs on Monday as motor factors closed, and has cone filter so I'll oil that, Pics tonight!

I don't think there is anyone now in Scotland that will do car parts, your better getting the classic car mag and looking up a few places down south that will advertise there
these may do it but they are not cheap

Hi folks, Changed the oil & filter/fuel filter, new pas fluid & screen wash, fresh wiper blades, Timing belt tommorow.
Started cleaning the bay, been at it for a while now, what you guys think?
Looks alot better to me, got a stand-in rocker cover at the moment
Also, spotted a few other niggles needing done!
Spot the missing bulbs?
I'll need to get these sorted asap, especially If I want working 4x4!
Here's some before and after pics:-
Before:-
After-Quite a transformation:-
Current State of bodywork, working on this at moment, pics asap

Looking for opinions on the reiger kit (if that's what it is) It isn't going to do to well with driveways or speedbumps, and the rear valance is split, sideskirts are a mess,, Should I revert to standard (my own preference) or repair and keep as is?
The bonnet is definatley going and I've reverted rear lights back to original
Opinions please?

John . The afterburners have resisters on them , they are little yellow things did you take them out too? As they are what make them the brake lights aswell as normal lights. Daddy cool sold them .

Yeah,Ill have to rob another calibra for the loom and solder the wires to get originals working, not long until I can get it motd, run it for a bit then off to the body shop, think I'm going to revert to standard bodywork, hope you're not gutted!

the gold colour objects are the resisitors so the check control gets fooled and the light goes put on the dash ...there should be a orange coloured box that the wires from the original wires go into and then go out to the afterburnners, that is what worked the brake lights
Re: Calibra turbo Project x2
Cheers, any ideas on sealing the original lights,as afterburner had sealant on them, cheers fraz,I'll remove the resistors when I wire up the lights. Next headache is sorting the 4x4, Ian said a new box was fitted when the engine was rebuilt, but has never worked, assuming if box was knackered it would eject pas to fluid?
