ECU Fault Clearing

by Redtops Rule » Thu Sep 25, 2008 6:56 pm

Had a code 73 fault (airflow meter low voltage) bought and fitted a new airflow meter but still having the same problem as before.(erratic idle speed and lots of smoke)
Does anyone know if i need to do something to clear the fault codes?
Also got a code for the throttle position sensor before that and replaced that too.
Driving me crazy!!!!

disconnect the battery for one hour to reset the fault sometimes when you replace the part it doesn't reset itself.
