Heater blower making strange noise

by Calibra_Mike » Sun Dec 07, 2008 11:42 am

At first I thought it might be crap stuck in the fan but I tried cleaning it out and ran it for ages, normally in the past if something got stuck in the heater fans it would get spat out after a while, it seems to be making a clicking sound on slow speed and when on full makes a real loud noise, could it be the resistors giving up?? Its funny cos it did this last year around the same time of year but seems to be getting worse this time round... anyone had this happen to them?

Remove the glovebox and wip it out. You may find a drop of spray grease into the bearings will help.
