Problem fan in a calibra

Can anyone offer any advice about a radiator fan which won't switch off. I have a 1994 2.5 v6 calibra and we've tried replacing the switch and the relay to no avail. Vauxhall technical won't help because I'm not a dealer and my local dealership can't help because of the age of the car. So does any one have any ideas?
