Indicator Bulbs

I keep blowing bulbs for rear indicators, the ones which are defined on the halfords compatibility chart just dont seem to hold out. I have had Volvo ones in for about a year now which have bigger filaments but one of them has just gone and I thought I'd use it as an opourtunity to get it sorted out. Any ideas why the recommended bulbs keep dying?

Because they are cheaply made.

Get some Vauxhall ones

i've had the same set of bulbs in my cally since i bought the car over 4 1/2 years ago and I#ve had one tail light go, thats it
piltz, how long do they last? do u use ur hazards a lot? it's rarer for inidcator bulbs to go as they not used anything as much as any of the other bulbs

I am so bloody daft. I've been watching this post for relies since I posted it and never noiced that I'd put indicator bulbs where I meant to say Brake Light bulbs
