battery/alternator

Any electrical issues

battery/alternator

by lewis » Sun Apr 19, 2009 2:13 pm

after bump starting my car, and giving it a long drive, the next day the car started fine, [and has since been charged] but came up with battery light, battery level gauge, temp gauge and petrol gauge all not working, and the stereo not turning on, although there is enough power to start the car first and every time. my mate said it may be a problem with the alternator...but i do not know how to test this

any clues would be a great help

thanks
