dash lights

slight problem on the way home this am,started the beast up cleared her throat BRROOOM BRROOM flicked the lights on headlights on but no dash lights anyway i gave the dimmer under the light swich a wobble and as if by magic they come on.

i shall keep an eye on it tomorrow morning,but if it happens again does it sound like i will need to replace the switch?

On the dash light dimmer, there is a flat plate resistor and that tends to break quite easily. I must have replaced mine 3 times already.

cheers bob ive got a few whole units spare,will chuck one in the boot just incase
