you must be a really really really busy person...its over a week you got told how to test it ...its a 30 second job (thats including opening and closing the bonnet)

ok ive done what yu said andy and it looks like it is the relay at fault, but the strange thing is last week on one of the days when it was p*****g down with rain, i had the lights on, heaters,windscreen wipers etc and left the car at my nans for a few hrs and battery was dead , so since i was told by aa man to take fuse out when stationary well for the last few days ive been getting home from work and the cooling fan has come on stayed on for a short while and then gone off so i left fuse in there and next morning it starts back to work again for last few days so i think either theres a demon in there weird...

btw andy how do yu get the relays pulled up so i can withdraw the black one in the top corner

no it was just a way the aa guy withdraw the relays by popping the housing up
