Any electrical issues

blowers not good

hi, my calibras blowers dont work very well, i put them on full & it makes a loud deep whirling noise & takes forever to de-steam my windows, i also open the air vents & cant feel much air coming out. does anyone know the problem???

If you are sure the fan is working then it'd prob not that. Have you got a pipe off somewhere behind the dash? that would some of the pressure away from the others

i'll have a poke about when the rains off, if it goes off :lol: seems like a pipe's missing but the blower makes more noise than in the last 2 i had :think:

had this with mine before, check the pollen filter there's a good chance it either full of crap or it's saturated with water

pop the bonnet lift the plastic panel and it sits inbetween the wipers

could be the cable has come off the heater sliders and its stuck between window and floor, or any of the others

thought about that as well Fraz but thought it be better checking the filter first before ripping the heater panel out :)

dont know, just a little comes out the air vents when blowers on full & blowers make hell-ov-a-noise

thats what mine was doing you'd have it on full and there would be little or no air at all. i whipped the fiter out and it was like a force 10 gale coming out the vents. the fiters are only a fiver to replace. try the fiter first mate then you'll know if it ain't it then it's your heater panel

i had a poke about & the filter looks almost black, found a couple of leaves on top of it & a few small stones on top. plus i noticed the wiper arms have damaged some of the filter too, is that normal? :think:
