NOT carry an octane selector. These engines automatically adjust the ignition curve, taking it as late as possible, almost at the limit of the dive. This will get bitten by a sensor, so that the ECU makes the following loop: the ignition is advanced until it begins to itch> is detected by the sensor immediately chopped goat is the ecu> This slows the ignition> chopped sensor squeal stops> immediately advances the ignition ecu> etc ... etc ... etc ...

The 16v lead a pin A / B on the same site as the 8v octane, but with different functions. The function of this pin is to adjust the levels of CO and noise to the stringent German standards ... Standard is in position A, the "restricted", the best position for this pin, obviously, is the B

RON plug that you use in your 8v?

As I assume you may know, this pin is located in the upper right of the engine compartment. In our calyx of up to 92, with a 90% chance will be yellow, showing "95" and "91", and will be placed so that the indication "95" is visible. It serves to tell the motor octane of gasoline that we have and adjust the ignition timing. With the pin in 95 we refuel "unleaded" 95 octane or more (never less or mischievous crank ...)

This information is from "master" Tropic (teamcalibra026.es)
