Sunroof Relay

by gazcallyt » Mon Feb 28, 2011 2:44 pm

Guys,

Is there somekind of relay in the sunroof wiring to the left of where the switch is located, before winter my roof was struggling to open and close, and a relay like click noise was coming from this location, after a swift hit the roof would sometimes work.

Cheers

The motor is located at the back and that sounds fine, if there is no relay up there will check the wiring, but there is something clicking up there at the front.

then it may well be the actual wires that operate the sunroof

Will have to have a closer look, it's the noise it makes just sounds like a relay clicking.

After further inspection the noise was coming from where the wiring room clips into the metal block on the sunroof, looked like a dodgy connection.
