What type of LEDS do you fit in the switches and steering wheel
controls to brighten them up a bit?

Thanks for the input Men...

I'm actually not at all captivated, by the chrome dial surrounds...

I'm just happy to fit the White LED's and check for any blown bulbs, as I suspect one or two!

Mate...

I fitted the the White LED's in the dash last night...

1 - They do look better than the Original bulbs, but they're NOT as bright as I was hoping for!

2 - Also the light dimmer feature, NO longer works...

Is this because of the LED bulbs, or their colour?

Any helpful advice much appreciated... ;)

Thanks...

your dimmer wont work now and it most just be the leds if there not as bright as you thought, but if they where very bright like my heater you cant see at night because of the glare so better not to bright

Mate...

I was looking at 2 different types of T5 LED's today...
I noticed that one had a bigger LED eye, therefore makes more light...

Bugger, might have to pull it out again, cos I want them brighter...
At least it won't take so long, being it the 2nd time doing it...

I also put some LED's in the lower cluster section...
Mainly in the lights that get used most like, indicator, handbrake, oil, EML, high beam & 'S'
I used Red LED's in Handbrake and Oil lights, as the white light looked slightly faded...

Wish I has some yellow, blue and green LED's for the various sections!
I was hoping to do the lot in LED, but the Air Bag & ABS lights stayed..

I also put LED's in the Gear Selector, Cigarette Lighter and in Glove Box!

Looking Great!!! :shifty:
