Lambda Sensor plug? ... and wires?

Any electrical issues

Lambda Sensor plug? ... and wires?

by chee_dee » Sun Aug 28, 2011 12:32 pm

So after a couple of years, my Cally is getting some attention again.

Sadly the Oxygen sensor still aint sorted. Got a universal one with no luck.

My question is. There are 3 wires going to the Sensor. 12v, Ground and the signal wire. I have recently noticed that the signal wire consists of more than one wire after peeling the insulation. Nothing of this is shown in the Electrical schematics in the Hayens manual.

IS this right? and why? any clarity/input would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hey thanks a mil Fraz.

Please tell me what the colours are on ur pic.

Top wire - Brown and some other colour ( Positive)
Middle - Blue and Red (Ground)
Bottom - THIS IS THE ONE I AM INTERESTED IN. The signal wire. Mine has three small wires together. Yours seem to have only one. Please check the colour.

Also what Cally is that?

Thanks

Chee
