Full Beam Switch

Any electrical issues

by KevV6 » Mon Aug 23, 2004 10:00 pm

I think my full beam switch in the indicator stalk is knackered, full beam keeps flickering on and off when im indicating and everytime light pressure is applied to the stalk, most annoying really. Easy to replace and how much soe anyone know ? Cheers

Remove steering cowl (3 screws)

Pull of electrical plug

Push the 2 clips in that hold the stalk on and pull off.

Easy as that.

I think they are about £35 new but cav ones will also fit yours

Mine did this too, easy fix just as Lee describes. FWIW I thought my new one was about £15 from Autovaux, not certain though.

EDIT: Just noticed you're in Basingrad...there's an M reg Cavalier at Chineham Car Spares at the mo, got some bits off it the other day.
