Hi, I've read your posts & I must say I'm using Bilstein shocks with Eibach Springs (35mm) & the set up is really good. When driving on standard 15" or 16" wheels very smooth & same comfort as factory suspension setup. The change came when I fitted 17" BBS's, it's still smooth on a good road but driving over pot holes feels a bit rougher :( so probably just avoid potholes :D

I've got the g-max kit and hopefully going down to 16" wheels, fed up with the potholes on my way to work. Like you said i hit one and it feels and sounds like the wheel and suspension has broken loose from the car.

big big thanks to my mate D and his friends (chris and poncyboobalong) for giving up saturday to lend a hand and change all the suspension :D it took us all day but it's well worth it,a few erm little problems and a few special ones i will never forget(ever).

it took us over an hour to take all 4 wheels off due to wanky alloys and odd sized nuts 3 19mm and 2 17mm on one corner and only 4 19mm on the others,
and now time for something i have never seen before the hub nut on the pass side wasnt even hand tight :axed:
and the bearing top of the shock drivers side looked like it was put on by the hulk i.e squashed to fook.

but on the good side the northcape can go over a bump without
A, your teeth falling out
B, a broken back
c. any chance of the wheel flying off, crashing,******* pants oh and death

and it now goes round corners too :D
we did however find the drivers side front tyre fooked bald on the inside with a whacking great big bulge in it,guess where im going tomorrow  and if i get the chance i will bung up some pics as the cally is sitting mmmm low oh also fitted me braided lines

once again thanks D :alright:
