awrite can anyone help am lookin for a new rear back plate for the passnger side were do i get 1
was driving to work and the rear brake locked on and send me into a spin been told it the back plate that has rotted n snapped

i bought a pair few years ago from vauxhall in cupar sure its cutis vauxhall at prestonhall ind est but they aint cheap new

I bought a pair from vauxhall only a few years ago and i'm sure they were less than £30.00 each, autovaux may do them a bit cheaper.

take them apart and have a look first ...then I am sure you will not actually need a new backplate ...it will be the brake shoe pin come through

and we know how to fix that :D

I thought you had to know how to do this as part of the Calibra Owning Contract.

I thought it was chewing gum and selotape ;)

as said above I bet it's the inboard brake shoes, you'll need a new set of those too

we dont use any of the above we use new pins the clever bit is the way we get them in :dance:

cheers guys need to get stuck into it this week end and get the new parts car been lying for 2 weeks and have been working late nites thinking about fitting the new engine that me gettin aff steve and juz re buildin my other redtop
