i did think it was a bit low for a v6 cali

what is the correct tyre preasure for a v6 with 17" alloys or does the size of wheel not matter

Mmm while on the subject, As you know tyre pressures on a 4x4 are more important, so would I run a higher pressure at the front to overcome engine weight or does it not matter?
Im running 32 all round at the moment.

The GM Technical Reference Guide 2002 says for Turbo

F 40 R 38 or full load 42/49
OR
F 33 R 30 or full load 34/42

For V6

F 38 R 34 full load 39/48
OR
F 34 R 31.5 full load 36/45

So yes, run higher pressure in front tyres unless there is a heavy load in the back.

all services i do at work i use 32psi, espically when you look at it this way,

what temp is it on the day of testing? do you adjust accordingly?

i watched a psi monotring system on a insignia going down the road and i a 3 mile road test it went up 5 psi all round!

i really dont think 2psi here or there makes a big difference

mmm, i will change the turbo to 34/32 as the sub box in the boot weighs a ton.

having 32 all round does seem to be wearing evenly though.
