im looking at where originally the cd changers were placed in the calibra?

Has any of you got any photos of where they were? or other ideal locations?

I seem to recall seeing it mounted to the rear of the wheel arech and rear lights, mounted on a bracket along the top

ouch, sorry. right. on top of spare wheel was subwoofer mounted.

I had an early model with no passenger airbag so located it here:

I made a stealth panel from the original cover, vinyl, staples and some fibreglass:

When fitted I had a pop off panel that was never questioned by anyone, not even other Calibra owners! It matched a lot better colour wise than the photo suggests:

Dunno if this is a stupid comment, But why not just buy an MP3 Player, surely thats easier cheaper and tidyer (due to not having CDs Kickn Around) :lol:

because an MP3 player was not heard of when the Calibra was lunched, the idea is to return it to standard

could also use an fm transmitter from your mp3/ipod :D i got one for my sc303

Ye right enuff, i just figured it was going in the original place because thats where thier was a space intended for the cd changer lol

mine was screwed to the back of the rear seat.
And I'm quite sure it was original. It was blaupunkt changer and blaupunkt cassete player
