...to fit 6x9's in the standard rear speaker positions?

Obviously you'd need adaptor rings of some sort...has anyone ever done this?

I have a pair of Kenwood 2 ways in there at present...and the difference over standard is superb, however i just fancy abit more bass from time to time, and didnt really want to wire a sub in.

if you can get hold of a spare set of standard rear speakers, fubarded would be beeter,as you take the speaker out of the plastic housing and cut it from the mount therefore leaving you with the shell of the speaker, now cut up the ring into quarters, you only need the area around the screws so you have 4 stools sort of and all you have to do is mount the little plinths onto the 6x9's and screw back into position,I did it on my old calibra
