dont think i said you need to spend 1000's on after market parts to make it work properly but you will need to get a remapped ecu ,

now your comments are what will put people off doing 3.2 conversions

No mate, your comments have put people off because I just said it will work. You piped up about everything else because of the Drain.

Still love you loads though dude (I'll send you a kiss on FB message shortly, you'll probably tell me to f*ck off lol) & remember that the Drain is something that not all of us plan to aspire to cos we haven't the patience for it!

the Drain has nothing to do with this, i put the 3.2 in my £500 v6 after i blow the engine before the Drain became any thing, and after driving it for a while and disappointed with the power i took it too a well known engine builder tuner and and he put it on the RR and after he blow the gearbox off it he told me every thing that the management wasnt doing and came up with a solution, now my memory isnt that good but your car will be down more than 25% of its power that it would have had in the omega,

its a bit like yes a sprinter can run in boots and be faster than me but why would he wear boots rather than wear running shoes

That's a good answer Steve & I respect that totally. Now get back to where I was coming from.....

If a 2.5 needs to come out for whatever reason then we all know it's got to go back in again. We all also know that the 3.0/3.2 block & heads are absolutely identical to the 2.5 so there's no problem there so why not put the 3.0/3.2 back in it's place? There's no additional work to do to get a 3.0/3.2 back in instead.

That 3.0/3.2 will give an instant, massive improvement over the 2.5 that came out & it will work fine with the existing management, F25 etc.

If anyone then wants to play that's their choice but they don't have to, the rest is down to what you want to spend.

There's absolutely no comparison with the 2.5 & the 3.0/3.2, you know that too lol, so don't pretend that a 2.5 can get close without wasting a load of money on it!

i think there is a certain red 2.5 v6 that would prove that wrong, but yes it will go in and it will work but unless your going to do the other things at a later date why bother with a 3.2 just go with the 2.5 or 3.0
