Are the 4x4 non turbo and 4x4 turbo driveshafts the same??
Hi guys and girls. here is one for all you hardcors calibr fans/pros/enthusiasts. Does anybody know if the driveshafts on a turbo are the same as a non turbo? not sure if the f28 box and f20 have the same fitments/splines etc.......

I think there's some difference in the number of "teeth" on the ABS reluctor rings, have you checked out ecat?

This is a subject and a half. spoke to craig at autovaux. he assures me the turbo and non turbo have the same driveshafts. with abs ring 29 teeth.... the other size is the 2.5 version apparently with 44 teeth. I had a similar problem with the bottom arms and rollbar tie rods. everyone so far has stumbled with the non turbo version. . . . . so, 2 new shafts ordered..... and the whole lot changed before market harborough fingers crossed anyway. .....

Fingers crossed for you - my 1997 v6 is 29 teeth - I know because I just changed the reluctor ring. I'm not sure there's a hard fast rule...

Ok guys. So for future reference, the turbo and non turbo models share the same driveshafts. Both back in and done tonight. That means the f28 6 speed and f20 5 speed have the same shafts, most strange. At least now I have a spare set of shafts.
See you all Saturday at market harborough
