battery tray removal

anyone done this before,I have a hole behind the tray and to make a decent job of the repair really need to take the tray out.

Think theres spot welds you drill out Norrie, you can pop over tommorow if you like and I'll have a look, might be easier to weld from beneath, remove wheel arch liner etc

when i fixed Rays se9 i welded from the arch up, but you should be able to remove the battery tray with a spot weld removal drill
