Formula1 what's your thoughts???

by Tkeenan2107 » Sun Nov 02, 2014 7:57 pm

So who enjoys watching the sport?
Do you think it's improved over the years or become worse???
What you think to the British drivers?
Views on Hamilton?
Tonight's US results?
I'm gonna find me a reckless woman,
Razor blades and dice in her eyes,
Just a touch of sadness in her fingers,
Thunder and lightening in her thighs.

Used to follow it religiously in the late 90's, started getting bored with it in the early 2000's & now couldn't give two hoots about it.

Iv been brought up with it and WRC but that's gone pretty pants now, there's been some boring races this year but last nights was great fantastic driving all the way down the field, and a bonus hamilton won.

used to watch it in the late 60's and 70's when it was really exciting but as years went by it just got so boorring there is no excitement anymore and its getting to like football is as you almost know whos going to win out the select few in drivers and constructers and with the teams going into administration its becoming to money orientated hence the high prices

Not keen at all

The drivers are too dull and metrosexual compared to the outspoken men of the 80's and 90's

The cars are also ugly and full of boring "eco" technology, compared again to things like ground effect, v10/v12 engines etc. of yesteryear!

And also there are second and third rate countries hosting races, like "Bahrain". WTF? No, stick to proper first world countries thankyou.

The rules are in place for a reason 'safety', I get some of the rules but some are rubbish
Ie the pit stops are rubbish now without fuelling involved,
The engines to a hybrid good and bad I don't like the sound any more they use to sound fierce when I went to watch them it was great,
The time limit needs looking at for weather and other things,

As for being boring I disagree it's what happens now then produces the cars of the future down to the technology used,

As for third world countries Bahrain is a fantastic circuit it's a shame they can't improve a lot of other tracks, as silverstone is great but starting to lag behind again.

Hamilton is a fantastic driver, that's why him and nico going head to head has been fantastic to watch there no other aggressive driver like him he's todays Hunt, mardy is Alonso, massa, nico, and let's not forget Vettel.

I would like to see more companies come together to create bigger teams and give the top constructors a challenge caterham and such aren't able to compete they need to team up with another team. But I'm looking forward to the final 2 races as it's still up for grabs.

As they say anything could happen and with how bad his season has compared to nico,I think it could all go terribly wrong I hope not but you never know

Ha when he's not on pole he's not seemed happy but you can't take away his raw talent, one of the most exciting drivers in F1 with his aggressive driving. And when there allowed to race and go wheel to wheel it's great

Sorry going to be biased here but if Ricciardo had a more competitive car I think then we would have had a really exciting season. He would have pushed Hamilton pretty hard like he was able to do at Monaco at the end. But I think Riccairdo's temperament would have won out if they had more even machinery. Could probably say that for a number of drivers as well.
