1995 Calibra Turbo 24k (MINTBOX)

by m00k » Sun Apr 06, 2008 11:28 am

Having loved my cav turbo been chopping and changin a lot since, but really really liked the wee se8 magnetic blue calibra i had, but it was a 2litre eco tec and altho i liked the styling wished it had more go, so changed to the SRi Turbo mk4 astra, but it didnt really do it for me, (older stuff is better imo). So in keeping with the vauxhall theme (A) went looking for a calibra turbo, having started talking to a guy bout a clean dtm white turbo wi 90ish k on it i then heard of this one coming up for sale and promptly asked for more details an put a deposit on it.

Then the usual time wasting took place wi buyers an loans and stuff but eventually sold the wee astra and on st pat's mon too a flight to Norwich to lift this.

1995, one elderly owner from new who sadly died at the start of the year, when he retired he treated himself to a brand spankin cali tubby and it was his 3rd car so only used on special occasions. Has all old mot's etc and the only mods are factory option cat 1 alarm and factory option sony HU wi 10disc changer. He lso had a tow bar fitted to allow him to transport his motability cart on a small trailer, which he used twice apparently.

All tires etc have been rotated as per vauxhalls instructions so 4x4 is grand and has brand new rubber too. It appears the car has wanted for nothing and drives 110% i absolutely love it.

by time i got it home from norwich the milage has just crept past 23k :( not bad for 1995

colour wudnt have been my choice but the condition is unreal, i cant find a parking dent or scratch on the car, and i guess the few stone chips i have found were more than likely by me on way to the boat!!!

What a stunning find! I thought mine had low mileage at 35K but yours is in a different league. Is that tow bar staying on?
