Ia n you don't have to purchase the UFO kit, you can buy individual Gems, 1 or 2 ft tubes, they work on their own at a fraction of the cost

Maybe that's why the OE bonnet light was so crap (or so I heard), if it's on even when the bonnet is closed they might have had the first underbody lightting effect with a bright bonnet lamp...

:?

Fridge lights only come on when you open the door...like your glove box light its controlled by a plunger type switch

As a cheap alternative you could wire up 3 sets of 3 LEDS in series on some circuit board and replace the bulb under your bonnet with this. I have done it and now my engine glows blue when I open the bonnet.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'></div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Checked the diagram and it seems the power supply comes form the headlight washer relay..which was only on the very early cars<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Intersting! My under bonnet light doesn't work. Neither does the washers on the headlamps. Where's the relay kept then? I'll have to check it out.
