Can a sub flatten my battery

Any electrical issues

Have been haveing issues with my battery going flat if I leave the car sitting for 2-3 days. I recently installed a new uprated battery and a sub box/amplifier (I had no problems before this), could the sub be somehow draining the battery? What could I test/look for.

check the wiring isn't shorting to earth somewhere
remove power lead to the amp for a few days see if the problem occurs again as it coud be the fact the battery is no good
do u use the stereo a lot when the engine isn't running?
have you checked the charge going to the battery?

Do you have it wired correctly. ie does the sub switch off when you switch the car off? Make sure you have connected the remote lead to the ignition live and not the permanent live

cheers

Ok.. The wireing is def not shorting to earth, I don't use the stereo when the engine isn't running, the volt meter in the car says its charging at 14v, the sub goes off when the head unit goes off, the remote lead I have conected to the head unit.

I will try disconecting it for a few days to see what happens.

Sound like a weak battery to me (unless you're boot light's staying on or summat else daft like that).
