Front headlamps

Any electrical issues

Well, like everyone i had the "not enough light coming from the headlamps" so this weekend i decided to strip the car down and check the problem. Took th bumper out, the filter box and then the battery, tok the headlamps, and disassembled them. Was surprised to find some really steaky grease on the glass of the headlamp, needed to use tinner and gasoline to take it off, almost looked like someone had paint the inside with invisible paint, the glass from the headlamp of the left side was much worse. then cleaned the inside, very carefully, found out that the reflective area i to thing and come out if you rub to hard. Assembled them, sprayed contact cleaner from Philips on the sockets and plugs, and then put everything into place. I have to say that it worked very well, much brighter light and covers better ground, not as good as other cars, but much better. Hope this helps. cheers.
