I have seen a replacement pad kit for £110 per seat but its a carbon fiber replacement for better displacement of heat etc

Id include the link but cant remember where i saw it.

Near the seatbel connector is a wire that connect the 2 heatihg pads.
Back and bottom part.

This set of wires get a lot of friction from the moving of the seat forward in order to let people sit in the back.
To much friction and the wires snap.

Just get your hand in there (Do not get stuck LOL) and try to find the wires.
If found check if they are still in 1 piece.

huge chance they are not.
If it is OK than your heating my be broken.

It's easy enough to remover the pad in the back part of the seat but would like to know how to remove the pad from the bottom part of the seat? Does the leather just lift as per the back and expose the bottom pad?

you have to unclip the clips from under the seat base, and it makes the job easier if you if you take off the seat frame :D
