i replaced my standard leads for the red magnacore ones, think there were the 10mm ones but cant be sure, my calibra turbo was running fine with the standards ones but i did notice an improvement when fitted the magnacore, i managed to get them off ebay, think i paid £50.

Been looking at these for a while now, the reds ones for the tubby are 8.5 mm, and the blues 7.5 or 8mm i think. Would 0.5 make any difference? apart form being £20 more lol

Have em on mine, great leads, but they are overpriced.
I have had both 8mm and 7.5 and did not notice any difference between the 2

this is what mine looked like when fitted,, i was running a chipped turbo, wallace 245bhp maybe thats why the magnacore ones worked better but to be honest i never compared them to brand new standard ones.
ps hope the attached picture works,

I have them on both the 16V and the turbo, the 16V leads failed a long time ago and from Vaux they were 135 to replace so I went for the 8.5mm Magnecore I doubt you'd see any real difference between a new stock set and Magnecore but they do look good imo, try looking around for prices I think I paid 115 for my last set from Courtney
