AC not working, button does not light

I have checked all the fuses and wotnot. u cant hear the AC cutting in (the click) nor does the button light up when pressed, also the recirculation button doesnt seem to work...
all other heating controls work fine

any ideas :S have regased it with 1 of those cans with a gauge n its pretty full now

And possibly related...

The front fogs dont work and the front fog switch doesnt light up either.....

a new fusebox? lol :computer:

The light on the AC button will not illuminate when the system is low on pressure. But in saying that, it sounds like you have other problems.

Yeh iv just checked it all again and the gas i put in has all gone :banging: so il get it sorted sometime before next summer :dance:

the AC will not work unless both direction sliders are all the way to the left, if there is insufficient pressure in the system the AC light will not illuminate but you will here a psssst sound from the glovebox when you release the recirculation switch which becomes active anyway
