Thanks to all your advice and a bit of shopping round I am very pleased :D

I phoned a small local auto factors and they quoted £65.89 :)

I then phoned Pentagon Vauxhall in Derby and was quoted £57.22, I then mentioned the trade club and I am a member of ClubCalibra.net he said he didn't have the details for ClubCalibra listed but if I take my membership card and trade club details I can have it for £47.06 all inc VAT :D
Off there tomorrow 8)

Thanks to all involved with getting this discount sorted, it really is great :D

Picked up the battery this afternoon, when I got there the guy on the desk looked in his books and said the battery I had been quoted yesterday was a 60amp but for the V6 I should really have a 65amp. these were £65.50 (he did show me the price in the book) he then worked out the club discount and it came to £56.67 including VAT so that is what I bought, it has a 3 year guarantee so I think I did well

Next question is what do I need to do about the alarm, its a Clifford, when the battery is changed?

Think you put it in Valet mode, the alarm has its own built in battery
