Erratic Rev Counter.

Erratic Rev Counter.

by gazcallyt » Thu Sep 02, 2010 4:19 pm

Just noticed that anything above 3000 rpm then the rev counter goes nuts, like bouncing off the limit of where the needle reaches, soon as the engine revs drop around 3000 rpm or below its fine, checked leads and plugs all seem well and drives ok, checked on me apexi guage and this is reading the revs correctly, any ideas ?

Cheers

Checked the earth wire seems to be ok, had a split hose on the breather that goes to amal valve, seems to have settled the rev counter down, weird.
