Rev counter not working.

Rev counter not working.

by Rob-se9 » Sat Mar 19, 2011 1:18 pm

I finally managed to get the engine all up and running perfectly without any problems. I let the engine run for awhile checking everything and then turned it off. I left it for 15-20 minutes and then started the engine again. I noticed the rev counter was reading just above 800revs before the needle dropped to the bottom. I also noticed that the oil pressure gauge is off the scale when it was reading fine the first time i started the engine. Ive just checked all earth points, connectors and for broken or shorting out wires and i can not see any. Has anybody else had this problem?

Nope but if you have gone through everything then maybe it's time to test the clocks?
