Any electrical issues

With all the electrics on the battery should be reading 14.1 - 14.7.

Get the alternator checked.

put it this way Baz i have a battery out of a corsa b in mine and have done for nearly two years now and i've never had any of the the symptoms your describing, i would say it would be the same rating as your currant battery.
so like Andy and the rest have said get your alternator checked

your needing to go and get the gudgel valve looked at, I would say its blocked and causing the electrics to back flow Rather than go in a residual current round the engine

Best to get a meter on the battery turn on light heater fan ect and see what the voltage does when you rev the car, if the voltage drops then goes up when you rev the car the alt is fine, if it dosnt it's F****d, if you don't have a meter jus watch you interia light see if it brightness when you rev the car

Steve we got it checked today and we turned engine over and the gauge was around the 14 mark and with lights, demister etc it dropped slightly but no where anywhere near the 12 then we checked with multi tester n it said both were around the 14 mark,im going to change the battery next month just as mark said and see if i get any difference. cheers

Sounds like your alternator is fine, not sure about the battery iv had silly wee ones in cars, and as Ally said he has one out his boys old corsa and he's been using it for a couple of years now, have you checked the battery terminals are tight ?
