Does anyone know where this is located as the
windows don't appear to be working and the fuses
are all ok?

yes and yes though you do need to take some of the screws out the plastic cill and there is one pop out lock tab at the top of the kick plate 9if still there) and then just pull it out

Try tapping the motor at the same time as pressing the window button as some times they stick if water has got into it

Tried the new module and Steves suggestion but no
luck, think it might be something to do with the toad
alarm.when i close the drivers door the buttons light
up faintly, but theres no power going to the motors
anyone any other suggestions please?

do the windows work with the switch??

if you think its your alarm, you would need to check that the toad alarm is sending a pulse signal to the window closure module

should be a wire that are joined on the wire from the window closure module, these will be the ones coming from your alram to the Brown/Black wire, see if its getting an earth pulse when you press your button

could aslo bare the wire a wee bit and supply an earth direct to it and your windows dhould go up

picture would help ...only thing about there would be the airbag ECU but thats a metal box right at the back of the centre console. It may well be some after market thing that has been fitted ...or you have an older centre console that has the over ride switch for the windows

Fraz its the small part about the size of
a matchbox on the window switch plate
just wondering if that could be causing
my window problem as theres a small
printed circuit inside it
