ABS LIGHT PROBLEMS

by craigallan12 » Sun Aug 05, 2018 3:55 pm

ABS Light is coming on and off intermittently. A few years ago both front ABS units were replaced. I suspect it must be the rear unit that's at fault. Is this easily repaired by competent DIY man and what would it cost me.?

Thanks for reading.

Give the abs rings a good clean. Rust or dirt build up can cause this.

Check the rings for minor cracks too, another common fault is that as the hubs rust the rust causes the ring to expand and crack. Finally, cabling/wiring. Does it happen when you turn in a particular direction eg always lane changing to the right?
