Why are my brakes doing this ?

I recently fitted new rear disks, pads inc fitting kit and calipers and the brakes are just not bedding in rite.

I have removed and reassembled the rear brakes twice now making sure all is free and correct.

So why does this happen ?

Im thinking the new calipers are not operating correctly now ?

Any ideas ?

Well to start with the calipers are only a single piston type. You need to make sure that the pad is fitted correctly and most importantly centrally to the piston.

Did you fully bleed the system when fitting the above? I suppose you did seeing as you fitted new calipers. Were the calipers new (as in brand new), re-manufactured (as in recon from a dealer) or from a scrappy?

Calipers are brand new but could be Re-manufactured, and are of the two piston type, one either side of the disc unlike the front which is single piston type.

I think i have found the answer to the problem, but am still unsure as both sides are the same.
