Steering Rack Price

by Animal » Mon Jun 06, 2005 6:12 pm

Anyone got any idea on the price of getting them fitted? I've heard they are well pricey!
I think it might have gone on mine, as I've noticed the wheel is to the right when I'm on the left and the wheel is to the left when I'm on the other.
Anyone got anymore ideas or a price on a recon rack?

cheers

I bought one last week from Western Power that specialise only in recon racks!

<a href="http://www.westernpowersteering.co.uk" target="_blank">www.westernpowersteering.co.uk</a> . Will be about £130 inc Vat but plus delivery!

expect to pay £200 - £300 pounds fitting, not a nice job!

You can get a second hand rack for £30,or an exchanged reconditioned one for £80 or £90 depending on what rack you have,i believe there is 3 or 4 different types.Mine wasn't to bad to fit i done it myself in about 4hrs.
