Power Steering Fluid Brown

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Hi All,

Just checked my power steering fluid tonight and it's a light shade of brown...

I thought it was supposed to be red? What does it being brown mean?

Thanks,

Neil

It means it needs changing
did you just look at the liquid? or stick ya finger in there? its probably reddish wiht black specs if you look closely, either way a flush/change wont do any harm

Cheers Stu. I only had a look at it but it was proper brown rather than just speckly - I'll get a change sorted out soon.
