New wheels....which tyres?

by davefly76 » Mon Jun 27, 2005 5:32 pm

Right, i have a dilemma.

i have bought some new 7x17in wheels and can't make my mind up on what tyres to go for.

the choice is

205/40 yokohama a520 which i can get for £39

or

215/40 marangoni budget tyres which will cost £57

i have 215's at the moment and prefer having the wider tyre but the yokohama's are very tempting as they are a very good price and a good brand. so what do i do?

opinions please

cheers,
dave

Depends how you chuck it about really, but i'd go for the yoko's. I've put budget one's on before and they burn off really quick if you drive the car hard
