Suspension squeak

Any issues relating to suspension, steering and brakes.

Have now established my suspension problem is not serious but a noisey squeak every so often from front drivers side. last time i had this the Vauxhall people lubricated this but didn't tell me which part they did. Does anyone know which bit of the strut i do. i've done most of the moveable bits i can see with wd40 but i still have this squeak.
Any ideas will be welcomed

there is a bearing at the very top of the suspension shock absorber, it shidden under the suspension turret. If these break then the shock absorder shots up a bit and looks very odd. To gain good access at it, you will have to undo that large bolt at the top of the suspenion turret. Then push down the shock absorber as far as it will go, take the top 'cover' off and you'll see it. Spray WD40 or greese in the general area.

either that or the shock absorber is on its way out (ie its leaking, hence the squeaking).
